CTTC is responsible for the textiles standardization work, and undertakes the secretariats of SAC/TC209 (National Standardization Technical Committee on Textiles), SAC/TC209/SC1 (Subcommittee on Base and Test Methods), SAC/TC209/SC4 (Subcommittee on Bast Fiber Textiles) and SAC/TC209/SC7 (Subcommittee on Industrial Textiles).
